1. Carlisle Rental Agreement

All Carlisle vehicle rentals are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or vehicle collection. This agreement includes specific terms, conditions, insurance details, charges, and your responsibilities for the relevant rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. User Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Carlisle, you must:

Be at least 21 years old (age limits may differ by vehicle type, and a surcharge may apply to drivers under 25). Hold a current full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid photographic identification, proof of address and a payment method accepted by Carlisle.

3. Reservations and Billing

Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Carlisle location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. 4. Carlisle Collection and Return

At Carlisle, you must inspect the vehicle carefully at collection and report any existing damage straight away. A vehicle condition report will be prepared and signed. Return the vehicle in the same condition as when it was collected, taking normal wear and tear into account. Any new damage identified on return will be assessed and invoiced accordingly.

5. Insurance and Liability — Carlisle

Carlisle provides basic third-party insurance with all rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are set out in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. We recommend reviewing these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amounts shown in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellations and Modifications

Cancellation and amendment policies differ by booking type and notice period. Refer to your booking confirmation or the Carlisle Rental Agreement for full terms. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges.

7. Disallowed Uses

You must not use Carlisle's rented vehicle for:

Any illegal purpose or activity involving a Carlisle vehicle. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers. Driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes the vehicle is not intended for...

Violating these restrictions may result in Carlisle rental termination and additional charges.

8. Limitation of Liability - Carlisle

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Carlisle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law — Carlisle

These Terms, as they apply to Carlisle, are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Carlisle Terms
